About the project

Bringing Despero, a long-time DC Comics Character to life was a lot of fun. Teaming up with Kate Main’s costume department and IRL for some of the technical parts of the costume really created a fun character for Tony Curran to bring life to. Using leather to etch a futuristic design for the breast plate and shoulders and then wet-forming made for a truly unique costume.
